Give praise, O servants of the Lord,Praise God! Praise His name!
Give praise, God's servants,
You standing in God's house,
within the courts of our God.
Praise God, for He is great;
sing out His name, for it is joyful.
For God chose Jacob's followers as His
and He treasured them.
I know God's greatness,
God stands above all.
Whatever pleases Him He will do,
within heaven and on earth,
within the seas and in the depths.
He brings forth clouds
from the earth's ends,
sends rain with lightning,
and brings the wind up
from inside His storehouses.
He humbled Egypt's firstborn,
whether human or beast.
He sent signs and wonders,
against the Pharaoh and his slaves.
He humbled many great nations,
and brought down mighty kings—
throughout the peoples
and the villages in the land.
He provided them land to inherit,
a heritage to His devoted.
Your Name, our God, lasts always,
your fame is spread throughout all time.
